Creative social hour
They said time was a thief, and boy were “they” right. I often glance at the calendar and look to 2025 as some far off date in the future, not the one we’re living in the present. Between work, motherhood and the occasional date night, it was becoming more difficult to find time to do the things I loved. Creativity has always been my outlet, my safe space and a way to get the ideas in my head out into the world. After gabbing with friends I knew it wasn’t just me who needed time carved out to create, and in a community setting…what could be better? Enter, Creative Social Hour.
A space and place to connect, creatively. 2 hours of kid free/scroll free quality time, getting to know other people in the community. What started with a text to 5 pals has grown month after month. Friends invite friends, connections are made and everyone walks away with something handmade. The kits are curated by yours truly (a passion project in it of itself), and conversations flow over cold rosé and small bites. I charge a fee for supplies which felt quite cringe at first, but I quickly learned that Moms will gladly shell out $25 to have someone else do the heavy lifting (bonus when the heavy lifting is actually what you LOVE).
This is your sign to send the text, buy the supplies (pre-made kits are linked here, so you can focus on the fun for you stuff ; ) and get the crew together, I promise everyone will be so glad you did.
