Dinosaur, but make it chic

When given the task to plan any party, the goal is always the same. Approachable, fun and interactive. What sets the events I put my stamp of approval on apart from all others is that there has to be an element of creativity. A moment of pause where guests are immersed in some activation. Transported to a different space and place, if only for a brief moment in time.

What I have noticed most about events, especially for children, is that they often lack originality. Don’t get me wrong, there is a time and a place for a quick run to target to grab last minute supplies, but children’s parties don’t have to feel like a child decorated it! My aim is always to honor what the guest wants (especially if that is a 3 year old!) but create a setting that feels elevated. One that your cool hipster friend from Silverlake would equally enjoy.

Bold and bright colors, stood alongside kitchsy party hat clad dinosaurs. Functional cutlery and tablewear played with whimsical paper chain monsteras. The setting feels approachable and elegant, all at once. And the piece de resistance? A “make your own fossil” station, complete with name stamping so your little one walks away with their very own piece of history ; ) An activation that partners as a party favor? Yes please and thank you!
